• The 04:00 Gillingham to Dartford train will start from Rochester. A replacement bus will run from Gillingham to Rochester at 03:40 to connect with the train

I am writing to let you know we will be carrying out essential road maintenance on A22 Godstone Road, between Station Road and Waterbourne Way overnight on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 March.

We are delighted to let you know that the line from Three Bridges to Lewes will remain open this weekend. Work will still take place on the line from Three Bridges to Brighton, which remains closed. 

Replacement buses will run from Brighton and all stations to and from Haywards Heath. Please always check your journey before you travel on theNational Rail Journey Planner

The work taking place this weekend, 23-24 March 2019, will be:
  • Keymer Junction to Montpellier Junction/Hove
  • Insulated Block Joint recovery and re-railing at Balcombe
  • Balcombe Tunnel junction renewal including signal moves and track circuit conversions
There are three weekends of work remaining - Sat 30 & Sun 31 March, Sun 07 April and Sun 05 May. The previously advertised work on 06 April has been postponed to accommodate Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club fans to travel to and from Wembley on Saturday, 06 April. The team have historically reached the FA Cup semi-finals and will meet Manchester City in what is set to be a thrilling game. As soon as we were made aware of the date and time of the game, we started discussions to reschedule the work planned for 06 April.  

We will let you know as soon as we have a date for the rescheduled work.

• Buses will replace trains between Luton and Bedford.
Start of service until 08:45
• Trains to and from London King's Cross will start and terminate at Finsbury Park. We advise you to use London Buses or the Underground to complete your journey.
All day
• Buses will replace trains between Biggleswade and Peterborough.
• The 20:41 Horsham to London Bridge train will depart at 20:46 and will not stop at Horley, Salfords and Earlswood. A connecting bus service will depart from Gatwick Airport to serve these stations.

From 01:50 until 08:30

• Services to and from London King's Cross will start and terminate at Finsbury Park. Customers are advised to use alternative London buses and the Underground between London King's Cross and Finsbury Park. 
All day 

• Trains will not stop at Kentish Town. A replacement bus service will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and London St Pancras International, also calling at Kentish Town.
• Thameslink trains will not run between London St Pancras International and London Bridge. We suggest you use the London Underground between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars or London Bridge. 
• Services between London St Pancras International and Sutton / Wimbledon will not run. We suggest you use alternative Southern trains and London Buses to reach your destinations. 
• Trains between Rainham and Kentish Town will not stop at stations between Deptford and Slade Green but will call additionally at Lewisham, Blackheath, Eltham and Barnehurst. We suggest you use alternative Southeastern replacement buses and London Buses or Docklands Light Railway. 
• Buses will replace trains between Three Bridges and Horsham. 

Monday 21 to Thursday 24 January 2019
From 23:55 until early the following morning

• Buses will replace trains between Hitchin and Cambridge.
