The Centre, situated on Grange Park opposite the Tudor parade of shops in Old Coulsdon, was purpose built in 1984 with the support of the local community It has now served the local and surrounding areas for 28 years.

It provides comfortable and convivial surrounds with teas, coffees, lunches or snacks available during normal weekdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The generous lounge/dining area leads onto a patio area overlooking Grange Park.

 There is no membership fee and you can just drop in for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea and join in with any activity if you wish.  There is no need to stay all day, the choice is yours. For those who have difficulty using public transport, our fully accessible mini bus service is provided, except Thursdays, to bring clients to the Centre from in or around Old Coulsdon, Coulsdon, Purley, Kenley and Whyteleafe.

 The Centre is or has been used for regular meetings of:

  • Hearing Clinics


  • Hearing Club

  • Police Surgery

  • Nail Cutting

Entertainment includes:

  • Piano recitals

  • Quizzes

  • Bingo

Outings include:

  • Pub lunches

  • Cream teas

  • Seaside

  • Theatre

 The Centre is also available for hire during the evening or weekend for private meetings, anniversary or birthday celebrations and the like up to a capacity of 70 (50 seated).
