Representatives from the South of the Borough Residents’ Associations have continued to follow the consultations and meetings that have been held in the progress of the Croydon Clinical Commissioning Group’s proposed options consultations for the re-provision of Urgent Care services in Croydon. The support for an Urgent Care Service at Purley Hospital has continued and has been supported by Councillors in the South. The final decision on the location and type of services will be made in early 2016.

Meanwhile, the Residents Associations will continue to attend every relevant meeting to ensure that our Purley Hospital proposed Urgent Care service will be actively considered by the CCCG.

A new consultation document, with responses to the initial service options and the remaining supported options, on the ‘Croydon Urgent Care Re-procurement Appraisal—Final’ will be considered during this final stage in public consultation. Relevant meetings for the South of the Borough include:-

3/12 Purley Harris Academy, Kendra Hall Road 6-8pm

8/12 ‘Drop In meet the CCCG’ from 1-3pm
