Developers "Macar Developments" recently gained a planning permission via appeal for 24 Coulsdon Court Road and they have now contacted HADRA to advise us that, in light of the nature of the objections to this development, they want to make some changes to "incorporate the resident’s concerns".

In particular they have decided to introduce more houses and fewer flats, amongst other changes and are planning to hold a meeting with local residents to discuss these proposals.

At the time of writing, HADRA has no confirmation of the anticipated changes, other than the statement above and have asked the developer on 9th September to provide more specific details of their plans ahead of their meeting.  HADRA consequently are therefore unable to comment further, either in support, or against the proposed changes to the plan, until we are furnished with more details.

The following letter will be sent to local residents from the developer inviting "interested parties" to attend the meeting on 24 September.  Please see below for more information:

Update 24 September 2019

Thank you to all who attended this evening's (24/09) public meeting at Coulsdon Manor.  The topic of developing the land around 24CCR is obviously still very emotive and HADRA will continue to work in the best interest of our community in this matter.

HADRA has received copies of the plans which were discussed and for your reference we include these below.  You should be able to zoom-in, or download them for offline viewing:

As always, HADRA is keen to have your feedback on this development - please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
